Born in Izmir, Türkiye, and raised in Istanbul, Tilda Benbasat brings a rare blend of artistic depth and cultural sensibility to every space she touches. A longtime student of acclaimed artist Resul Aytimur, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held her own solo show, "Journey to Nature," which was featured on CNN Türk — a celebration of her distinctive nature-inspired paintings.

That same artistic eye shapes how Tilda approaches real estate. Where others see square meters, she sees light, proportion, and potential — helping her clients look beyond a property's listing and imagine the life they could build in it. It's this perspective that turns a viewing into a vision, and a property into a home.

My Story

I was born in Izmir and have spent my life in Istanbul — a city where East meets West, where every street holds centuries of stories, and where I learned that beauty and business are never far apart. This city shaped my eye, my instincts, and my understanding of what makes a place truly feel like home.

For over two decades, I worked in my family's business importing and distributing spices. Trading taught me what no classroom could — how to negotiate, how to build lasting relationships across borders, and how to recognize true quality, whether in a product, a partner, or a property. It sharpened a business instinct that has guided me ever since.

Through all those years, the artist in me never rested. I kept painting, designing, and sewing — and collecting antiques and one-of-a-kind pieces from my travels around the world. Each object I brought home taught me something about craftsmanship, history, and the quiet beauty of things made with care. That same eye for the rare and the genuine is what I bring to every home I find for my clients.

For more than ten years now, real estate has been my profession and my passion. I am accredited with the MYK Level 5 professional qualification, which authorizes me to provide investment consulting, property analysis and reporting, and to manage complex transactions — from corporate leasing and land development deals (kat karşılığı) to the sale of large commercial buildings, hotels, and factories. My work spans the most distinctive segments of the market — waterfront yalı residences, luxury properties, detached homes, and apartments — and I regularly lead educational seminars for those entering the profession. My focus is Istanbul, with deep expertise in Sarıyer, Beşiktaş, and Kağıthane, though my network and experience reach across the city and beyond.

Today, I bring this blend of business acumen and artistic soul into everything I do — from finding the right property to helping clients see the potential in a space. I believe every home should reflect a story. Mine is written in light, lines, and lifestyle.
